Jade

My name, the mountain, the plant, the stone, whatever you refer to, is in! I've heard people say "Jade is the new black". I've seen a ton of people wear Jade, and a ton of sales on a Jade nail polish color.There are a TON on Pinterest (by the way, follow me on pinterest @Jaide Elaine). So check out Jade! Wear it with a contrasting color like... YELLOW! Have fun and stay stylish!

Ombre

I hope you've heard of ombre. It's one of the cutest fashions in the world, and it's so cheap! You don't have to pay extra money or anything like that. It's just a style that the world has been dreaming about. 

So what is it? Ombre is when you start with a certain color, and slowly work your way to another color,by either going lighter or darker with the starting color. It may sound a little complicated, but I swear it's not! Here are a couple pictures of ombre shirts.

Sandals

Ah, sandals, the second best summer shoe (first is flip flops). I usually don't like sandals, but that's because I have an addiction to stereotyping sandals. It sounds pretty dumb, but when I see a certain brand or type of shoe, I tell myself that ALL their shoes are like that. But we can talk about me later... back to sandals. Like headbands, sandals have all sorts of different shapes, sizes, and colors. So here are a couple different types of sandals

Some of these are flip flops, but there are still cute :)

Headbands

Headbands totally tie an outfit together! Just grab a cute headband that matches your outfit, and taadaa! There are so many different types of headbands, so you can choose which kind you like the most. When headbands sit against my ears, they give me headaches, so if this happens to you just slide the ends of your headband just ever so slightly so that it doesn't touch your ears. Gabby's Amazing Outfit

 

This is one of my best friends, Gabby. Gabby is 4 days older than me, and she totally likes to rub it in (she's 11). Gabby is absolutely hilarious, and a ton of fun to be around. In fact, when I asked a bunch of my best friends what other types of blogs I should do, her response, "Do one about your best, best, best friend (that's me)"! We have sleepovers all the time, with tons of sugar and go totally crazy dancing to Just Dance 4. (Have you tried that game yet? It's awesome, but it's way better when you act like your insane... :)

Her outfit is super cute. This would be a good spring outfit, for a cold rainy day. I absolutely despise rain boots, so I love the substitute, that totally goes with the outfit. We'll start from the feet all the way to the hair.

Boots- I sort of already covered this, but these are just super cute black boots. It matches the glasses, which I love, because it does not look good when somebody has their whole outfit matching. Simple things that tie together, make a big difference.

Leg warmers- They came back in this winter :). The grey matches her sweater, and who couldn't miss those cute little bows! Grey looks great with the rest of the outfit, too.

Jeans- Gabby is wearing blue skinny jeans, which matches the rest of the outfit, even though nothing else she is wearing is blue. Jeans basically go good with everything.

Shirt- OMG! Super cute, am I right? I'm pretty sure she found this shirt at Gap, but I'm not sure... The pink lips match the pink headband. And the black glasses, as I mentioned earlier, match the black boots.

Sweater- How could this not go good with the outfit? It totally goes with the shirt. If you can't see, it has pockets on the side.

Earrings- You probably can't see, but she is wearing flower earrings (I think.. some type.. I can't tell very well). Small additions like these make big differences, just like simple things that tie together make big difference.

Hair- Her hair is in a bun (I think, I can't see the back). Gabby has amazingly long hair, so I don't know how you aren't able to see the back of her hair, but she makes it happen. She shows her bangs, which look super cute with the pink headband, which I'm about to talk about.

Headband- I'm pretty sure I actually borrowed this from her last year... Anyways, I love that headband, and the color :).

Overall, she totally rocks this outfit! I could never pull this off!!! Make sure to comment about her outfit!

Floral lace skirts- in!

When in church today, I noticed a teenager in front of me, wearing a super cute outfit. What really caught my eye, was her pink floral lace skirt. It was super cute. I couldn't exactly see her shirt, because she had a nude- colored sweater on over it. It was the perfect spring outfit, even on a rainy day. 

Her skirt looked like this one, except the flowers were smaller.

Her sweater looked exactly like this.

Her hair looked like this, except a little longer, and it was a deep brown color.

Pastel

Pastel colors are in! Light pink, light yellow, all of it! Want a outfit to wow the crowd? Try a pastel shirt or dress, and finish it off with ballet flats or matching sandals. The following outfits are gorgeous. They finish of the outfit with a purse, but I also love the pink high heels. Overall, if you want a show-stopping spring outfit, search for pastels!
